Founder's Message
PedalUp was born from a journey I know all too well—the path from being Unspoken to becoming Unbroken. Growing up, I learned early what it feels like to face challenges without a voice, without support, and without the belief that life could be different. But I also learned the
power of resilience, discipline, and the people who choose to stand beside you when you need them most.
My career as an entrepreneur taught me how to build, adapt, and create opportunities where none existed. It taught me how to turn vision into action, how to manage teams, and how to grow ideas into something meaningful. But more importantly, it taught me that real success is
measured not in profits, but in people—in the lives you can lift, the potential you can unlock, and the futures you can help shape.
PedalUp is the intersection of these two journeys: the resilience forged from my personal story and the strategy shaped by my business experience. I created PedalUp because I know what it feels like to rise from difficult beginnings, and I know what young people can achieve
when they finally have structure, belief, and community around them.
At PedalUp, we use cycling as a catalyst—but what we are truly building is character, confidence, and opportunity. We give young people a team to belong to, mentors to learn from, and the tools they need to rise beyond their circumstances. Most importantly, we teach them to
lift one another up, so the impact extends far beyond any single child.
Every pedal stroke represents a step toward discipline.
Every training session builds resilience.
Every act of teamwork strengthens a community.
And every young person who thrives becomes a beacon for others.
PedalUp is not just a program—it is a movement of young people rising together. And with your partnership, we can build the structures, the spaces, and the support systems that will change lives for generations.
Thank you for believing in what we are building.
Thank you for believing in them.

Closing Message
In many parts of the world, education is something we barely think about—it is expected, assumed,
guaranteed. But in West Africa, education is a privilege. What is most heartbreaking is that the cost
of basic schooling can be as little as $100 per year—a small amount to many, yet a barrier that
stands between a young person and their future.
I have met children with an incredible desire to learn, to grow, and to change their lives. Walking
away from them is something I find impossible. But I also know that on my own, my impact is limited.
That is why PedalUp exists—because together, we can remove the barriers that hold young people back.
Together, we can give them structure, community, mentorship, and the chance to rise.
I am committed to giving my time, my energy, and every skill I have acquired through my own journey
to ensure these young people are seen, supported, and given the opportunities they deserve. But real,
lasting change requires a collective effort.
With your support, we can reach more youth, build more hubs, provide more bikes, keep more children
in school, and open the doors that lead to futures filled with possibility.
Together, we can help every young person Pedal Up to a life of dignity, opportunity, and hope.
Thank you for believing in this mission—and in them.
